Saturday

360 Beginners Open

  • 10lbs mace
  • 5Minute Time limit
  • AMRAP 
  • Winner Highest Volume= Reps x Weight

The 360 Beginners Open is a competition designed for new macebell athletes. It features a single exercise: the 360. Competitors will use a 10-pound macebell and have a 5-minute time limit to complete as many repetitions of the 360 as possible. The winner will be the athlete who achieves the highest “volume,” which is calculated by multiplying the number of repetitions by the weight of the macebell (10lbs).

360 Open – 5 Minutes Sprint

  • Feather weight, light weight, welter weight and Heavy weight
  • 5Minute Time Limit
  • AMRAP
  • Winner Highest Volume = Reps x weight 

This macebell competition is designed to be inclusive for all skill levels, from beginners to experienced athletes. Competitors will be divided into weight classes based on mace weight: featherweight, lightweight, welterweight, and heavyweight. The competition will be a 5-minute AMRAP (As Many Reps As Possible) challenge. The winner of each weight class will be the competitor who completes the highest volume, which is calculated by multiplying the total number of reps by the weight of the macebell used.

The Modular Mace Race

Gear up for a macebell relay unlike any other! This Modular Mace Challenge will test your strength, stamina, and efficiency. The challenge consists of FOUR stages, each requiring specific swings with the Adex Modular Mace Kit

  • Stage 1: Heavy Swings
  • Stage 2: Symmetrical Flow
  • Stage 3: 2-Handed Swing
  • Stage 4: 1- Handed Swing

Athletes will be timed from the start of the first exercise to the completion of the final exercise.

Sunday

Rotational Strength Circuit –

Beginner/Intermediate/Advanced

Calling all macebell enthusiasts! Get ready to test your rotational strength and endurance in this exciting Rotational Strength Circuit Challenge. This event is open to all skill levels – beginners, intermediates, and advanced athletes can compete against each other in their respective categories: Men’s, Women’s, and Open.

Weight Classes for a Fair Challenge:

To ensure a fair competition for everyone, we’ve designed weight options split into three categories: Lightweight, Middleweight, and Heavyweight. Choose your weight class based on your experience and strength level:

  • Categories (men’s, women’s, Open)
  • Division (Weight Class (Macebell)
  • Categories and exercises

Beginner: 

  • Hammer Snatch : 15lbs
  • Multi-planar Club Cast : 15lbs
  • Single Arm inside Mill : 15lbs
  • Sledge Hammer Slams : 10lbs
  • Single Arm 10&2s : 10lbs

Intermediate: 

  • Hammer Snatch : 25lbs
  • Multi-planar Club Cast : 30lbs
  • Single Arm inside Mill : 25lbs
  • Sledge Hammer Slams : 15lbs
  • Single Arm 10&2s : 20lbs

Advanced: 

  • Hammer Snatch : 35lbs
  • Multi-planar Club Cast : 50lbs
  • Single Arm inside Mill : 35lbs
  • Sledge Hammer Slams : 20lbs
  • Single Arm 10&2s : 30lbs

10&2 5-Minute Sprint –  All Skill Levels

  • Categories (men’s, women’s, Open)
  • Division (Weight Class (Macebell)
  • 5Minute
  • AMRAP
  • Winner Highest Volume = Reps x weight 

This is a 5-minute AMRAP (As Many Reps As Possible) sprint challenge that’s open to all skill levels. Competitors will be divided into three categories: Men’s, Women’s, and Open. Within each category, there will be further divisions based on the weight of the macebell used (weight class). The winner of each category and weight class will be the competitor who completes the highest volume, which is calculated by multiplying the total number of reps by the weight of the macebell used.

Flow Competition

The One Mace Showdown is your chance to showcase your creativity and skill with a single macebell. This solo competition celebrates the artistry and athleticism of mace training.

Equipment: One 10-pound macebell will be provided.

Format: Solo competition. Each athlete will perform a self-choreographed mace flow routine.

Flow Requirements: Flows can be any length (max 5Min), but creativity, difficulty, and execution are key!

Judging: There are no judges in this event! The crowd decides the winner. The athlete who receives the loudest cheers for their performance will be crowned the Flow Champion.
