The 5 Peak Challenge

Mission Trails

Mission Trails Regional Park is a beautiful and challenging park with over 58 miles of trails. It is the perfect place to train for hiking and backpacking adventures.

What to Expect

Over the next 90 days, you will participate in a variety of strength and conditioning exercises that will help you build muscle, improve your endurance, and increase your power. We will also focus on improving your mobility and flexibility.

Challenge Prep

Before we attempt the 5 Peak Challenge, we will hike each peak individually. This will give you a chance to get familiar with the trails and to build your strength and endurance. We will also do sport-specific workouts outdoors using unconventional training methods (calisthenics, kettlebells, Indian clubs, etc.) twice per week in a small group setting (3-6 people).
